WORKING IN AUVERGNE

Company location is a matter of strategy. Benefiting from the advantages of a growing city and being part of the greater Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region were major considerations in making that choice.

Auvergne, a land of talent and innovation

The startup Yesitis, founded in Clermont-Ferrand in French region of Auvergne, lays at the heart of an ancient mountain range of volcanoes. These volcanoes make up the parc naturel regional des volcans in and date back to the Quaternary era with the last eruptions taking place less than 8,600 years ago. Among these volcanoes, we find the famous Puy-de-Dome which towers at 1,463 meters high and the Massif du Sancy (1,886 meters high) known for its ski resorts.

Also central to Auvergne is the Limagne plain, a large plain located in the center of Auvergne. Nearly 90 km long and 215 km wide, the plain is extensively cultivated by farmers and offers fertile soil composed of silt, limestone, clay, marl, and sandstone.

The Limagne fault, coupled with the chain of volcanoes are candidates for the list of UNESCO World Heritage List. Those from Auvergne hope to see one day, their homeland listed alongside the greatest wonders of the world.

Working in Auvergne is a choice of lifestyle

Company location is a matter of strategy. With half of the Yesitis co-founders from Auvergne, the possible benefits found in a growing city, and being part of the greater Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes joined region, made Clermont-Ferrand and Auvergne an obvious choice. In addition, the spirit of entrepreneurship and support for startups are instilled in the heart of Auvergne.

Our everyday actions are guided by this spirit. Collaboration is key just as each of our employees is essential to the development of the company.
